6.2.1.2The characteristics of conducting oneself to serve others

The drive of management by conducting oneself determines that it will acquire the following features:

1.Delaying effect (non-synchronous effect). To understand the emergence of management by conducting oneself from the perspective of emotional exchanges, there first of all must be someone who conducts himself and makes the foundation for emotional exchanges, then by “serving others” he can influence and change the behaviors of the managed. Therefore, “conducting oneself to serve others” cannot be reversed to “serving others to conduct oneself”.

2.Incremental effect. “Conducting oneself to serve others” is a behavior rich in affections, the reward from these affections is incremental. “A favor as tiny as a drop of water must be returned with a fountain.” From the leadership’s self-conducting to the conduct of the led, it is an incremental dynamic process.

3.Recycling effect. Management by conducting oneself will start with the management’s “conducting themselves” to “serving others”, and then proceed to “conducting oneself” and “serving others” of the managed. Both the management and the managed interact with each other, constantly upgrade their management behaviors, and ultimately promote management performance.
